For as long as I can remember, art and photography have been a part of my life. My mom loved taking photos of my brother and me and we visited the local portrait studio every year. I have always loved flipping through our family albums to relive our camping trips to the beach, holiday celebrations, and the day to day life of playing with my toys or dance parties in the living room with my dad. Art class was always my favorite, and I pretty much decided when I was a teenager that I wanted to be a photographer. I started taking photography classes in high school, and fell in love with black and white film and developing my photos in the darkroom. After high school, I decided to attend college and chase my dream of becoming a professional photographer. This led me to graduate from Marywood University in Scranton, PA with a B.F.A. in photography in 2006.
I started my business right after college graduation, and spent many years working multiple part time jobs while growing my business. For a long time I dreamed of having my own studio where I could welcome my clients and shoot my sessions, and in July of 2015 that dream became a reality! I have always loved inspirational quotes, and one of my favorites is "Start each day with a grateful heart." That is exactly how I feel every day as I walk through the door of my studio. I am grateful for the experiences that lead me to where I am today, and that I have a job that I love so much. I'm grateful for the long days, late nights, highs and lows of being a business owner. For the fellow photographers that have been my mentors, supporters, and friends over the years, and most of all, my AMAZING clients that have trusted me to tell their stories!

Hey there! I’m Brienna Richelle Smith, and I’m so happy you found my little corner of the internet! I spend most of my days with my camera in hand capturing memories for my clients, and when I'm not at my studio, I'm spending time with my family and friends making memories of my own! Coffee dates, cooking vegetarian meals, and Sunday funday adventures are just a few of my favorite things! Oh and glitter... which you will probably realize when you step into my office. Pink peony flowers, sweater weather, anything with caramel, and my rescue pup Riley are also pretty high on my list of things that make my heart sing!
I believe that relationships are so important, and I genuinely love getting to know my clients during our time together. It means the world to me to have a wedding couple return for their newborns first portraits, or a family come back year after year! My tiniest clients often remind me just how quickly time goes by and how much can change in a year. It is such a joy to watch my clients grow and give them a way to remember the happy moments and little details that we may otherwise forget.
