Newborn & Maternity
I LOVE newborn sessions! I consider it such an honor to capture those first portraits of your sweet little one. Documenting the start of a new life is such a privilege. I have been photographing newborn sessions since 2009, and have attended workshops with some of the top newborn photographers in the country to learn proper posing techniques and ensure the safety of your baby at all times.
Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours to allow plenty of time to get those sweet sleepy shots. These sessions are ideally scheduled during the first two weeks of babies life, while they are still sleeping through most of the day. I photograph the majority of my newborn sessions at my studio in order to have access to all of my props and control of the room temperature (babies like it warm!). I do have clients that prefer to have their newborn session at home, and I am available to travel. Shopping for my littlest clients is so much fun, and I have a large variety of hats, headbands, diaper covers, blankets, and props for my newborn sessions. You are welcome to bring any special items that you would like to include as well. I also love to include parents and siblings in the newborn session.
A few days after your session, I will post a sneak peak of my favorite images from your session (this is optional). And about two weeks after your session we will get together for your session premiere! During your premiere we will view a slideshow of your images, samples of all of the products that I offer, and go through your proofs one by one to place your order. I love that I am able to help my clients select their favorite images for their walls, and I am able to answer any questions that you might have.
I am proud to offer a variety of products, all produced by the highest quality photography labs in the country, so you can be sure that you will enjoy your order for a lifetime. Products such as prints, canvas wraps, custom designed albums, frames, and birth announcements are available. I have thoughtfully created several collections that offer a variety of products to showcase your artwork, along with digital copies of your edited photos and a print release.
The Newborn Session fee is $175 and includes your session, access to all of my props, a welcome packet with more detailed information, and your session premiere.
The Maternity Session fee is $125 and includes your 1 hour session, access to my mama gown collection, a welcome packet with more detailed information, and your session premiere.
Baby session bundles are also available, which are all inclusive to document your baby’s first year! Please inquire for a detailed price list.
